Hello sweet friends! I am so glad you’re here for day 3 of my armor of God devotion. Today we are looking at the breastplate of righteousness and how important it is in our battles.

Righteousness is doing what is right in God’s eyes…to obey Him and His command to love Him and others. And of course, we, on our own, cannot do this. So it is the wearing of Jesus Christ and His righteousness that protects us against the snares and traps of the enemy. To conjure up our own righteousness is like wearing dirty rags.
All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. Isaiah 64: 6
